Our Story

A true neighborhood club

Huntington Swim & Tennis Club is Naperville's oldest private swim and tennis club, located on Chicago Avenue adjacent to the Huntington and Huntington Commons subdivisions. We've been bringing families together since 1969.

We're a member-owned, not-for-profit club. That means your dues go directly back into the facilities and programs that make summer special for your family. Recent investments include removing all old court surfaces and installing brand-new tennis and pickleball court surfaces.

Our members range from young families discovering their first swim lessons to long-time residents who've watched their kids grow up splashing in our pool. That continuity, that sense of community, is what makes HSTC special.

From morning lap swims to afternoon tennis to evening social hours, there's always something happening at the club.

The Pool

Our large outdoor pool features a diving board, basketball hoop, swim lanes, and a dedicated baby pool. Lifeguards are on duty during all open swim hours, giving parents peace of mind all summer long.

Tennis & Pickleball

In 2026 we removed all old court surfaces and installed brand-new tennis and pickleball surfaces with a beautiful blue and green finish. We offer a tennis court along with 2 pickleball courts, serving players of all ages and skill levels.

Barracuda Swim Team

Kids ages 5–18 can join our competitive Barracuda Swim Team (additional fees apply). Home meets are a beloved club tradition, and many Huntington alumni count their swim team summers among their favorite childhood memories.

HSTC is a member-owned club with limited enrollment. We welcome families, couples, and individuals from the surrounding Naperville community.

Season Highlights

The season opens with our popular Opening Day celebration on Memorial Day weekend, complete with activities and a chance to reconnect with neighbors.

The Barracudas Swim Team hosts home meets throughout the summer (additional fees apply for participation). Meet days bring the whole community together.

Member social events, themed nights, and holiday celebrations are planned throughout the summer by our volunteer events committee.

The season closes with our Labor Day Weekend finale before we wrap up for the year.
